Swansea City’s 1-0 win over Millwall on Tuesday, was hard fought at the Den. Millwall wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Luton Town in their previous game. Swansea, on the other hand, were coming off the back of a 4-0 win against Cardiff City. As it stands, Millwall are in 10th place on the table and has 58 points while Swansea sit in 13th with 54 points after 24 matches.

The Swans opened the score, with Joel Piroe giving Swansea the lead just before half-time, finalising the first half 0-1. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.

Millwall brought on Maikel Kieftenbeld, Oliver Burke and Sheyi Ojo for Tom Bradshaw, George Saville and Jed Wallace. Swansea brought on Olivier Ntcham, Jamie Paterson and Korey Smith, to replace Hannes Wolf, Joel Piroe and Jay Fulton.

There were bookings for Danny Ballard from Millwall. For Swansea, Matt Grimes and Joel Latibeaudiere saw yellow.

Millwall next face Barnsley and Swansea are at home to Derby County.
