Peterborough United on away loss to Millwall at the Den on Saturday. Millwall wanted to continue adding points after a 2-2 draw against Birmingham City. Peterborough United had lost their previous match against Nottingham Forest. After an un-eventful first half, The Lions certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, with Benik Afobe finding the net, at 52 minutes. The momentum was now with Millwall, who then scored again through a goal from Josh Knight, at 73 minutes to establish a 2-0. Millwall then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from George Saville at the 76 minute mark with a final score of 3-0.
Millwall brought on Jed Wallace, Mason Bennett and Tyler Burey for Ryan Leonard, Tom Bradshaw and Oliver Burke. Peterborough United brought on Ricky Jade-Jones, Kwame Poku and Joel Randall, to replace Frankie Kent, Jack Marriott and Jeando Fuchs.
Millwall will next travel to Bournemouth, while Peterborough United will face Blackpool at home.
