Millwall 2 – Huddersfield 0: Job done for The Lions at home to The Terriers

Millwall eased past Huddersfield Town in a 2-0 victory on Wednesday at the Den. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Millwall were looking for a victory after a scoreless draw against Middlesbrough in their previous match. Huddersfield, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with West Bromwich Albion. After today’s result, Millwall are currently 10th with 57 points from 38 matches, while Huddersfield sit in 3rd, with 63 points from 38.
Millwall started the first half well, thanks to Benik Afobe finding the net, 27 minutes in, which saw the first half end 1-0.
The Lions continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Benik Afobe finding the net again, 57 minutes in and seeing the game end 2-0.
For Millwall, Tyler Burey, came on for Mason Bennett. Huddersfield brought on Danel Sinani, Ollie Turton and Faustino Anjorin, to replace Jonathan Hogg, Matty Pearson and Sorba Thomas.
