Luton Town’s 3-1 win over Hull City on Saturday, was hard fought at Mkm Stadium. Both Hull City and Luton arrived fresh from some positive results. Hull City were looking to continue their run, following a 2-0 victory against Coventry City. Luton, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 4-0 victory against Preston North End. As things stand, Hull City are in 20th place, with 41 points from 39 matches, while Luton sit in 3rd, with 63 points from 39.

Luton started the first half well, with Elijah Adebayo giving The Hatters the lead in the 10th minute. The score at half time was 0-1.

Luton continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Harry Cornick in the 56th minute. Luton looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from James Bree at the 72 minute mark to establish a 3-0. Hull City in turn, then responded just before the final whistle increasing their lead with an effort from Tom Eaves and seeing the game end 3-1.
