Fulham snatched all three points from Preston North End in a 3-0 victory on Tuesday, at Craven Cottage. Fulham were looking forward to meeting again after losing 2-1 to Derby County in their previous fixture. North End, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As it stands, Fulham are currently 1st with 86 points from 43 matches, while North End sit in 15th, with 58 points from 43.

Fulham started the first half well, with Aleksandar Mitrovic opening the rout at the 9 minute mark. The Cottagers looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Fabio Carvalho, 34 minutes in to establish a 2-0. However they weren’t finished yet and Aleksandar Mitrovic made it 3-0 just before half-time, finishing the first half 3-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 3-0 at full time.

Both coaches used the full entitlement. For Fulham, Jean Seri, Bobby Reid and Rodrigo Muniz, came on for Harrison Reed, Fabio Carvalho and Aleksandar Mitrovic, North End brought on Sean Maguire, Bambo Diaby and Scott Sinclair to replace Ched Evans, Josh Earl and Brad Potts.

There were bookings for Tom Cairney from Fulham, and Ben Whiteman, for North End.

Fulham will next play Bournemouth away, with North End facing Blackburn Rovers at home.
