Fulham 0 – Forest 1: Red dogs ease past The Cottagers at Craven Cottage

Nottingham Forest eased past Fulham in a 1-0 victory on Tuesday at Craven Cottage. Fulham wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Bournemouth in their previous game. Forest were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Peterborough United and West Bromwich Albion. As the table looks today, Fulham and Forest currently occupy 1st and 4th spots in the table, with 87 points and 76 points respectively after 39 matches.
Forest started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with Philip Zinckernagel finding the net at the 15 minute mark, seeing out the first half 0-1. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 1-0.
Fulham brought on Tom Cairney, Kenny Tete and Rodrigo Muniz for Harrison Reed, Neco Williams and Joe Bryan. Forest brought on Joe Lolley, Cafu and Richie Laryea, to replace Philip Zinckernagel, Sam Surridge and Jack Colback.
There were bookings for Harrison Reed and Aleksandar Mitrovic from Fulham, and Philip Zinckernagel, for Forest.
Forest and Fulham will next play at home to Swansea City and Luton Town respectively.
