Fulham 1 – Coventry 3: The Sky Blues, fearless, go to Craven Cottage and win

Fulham on Sunday lost to Coventry City on a home defeat at Craven Cottage. Fulham were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Coventry, on the other hand, secured a point against Blackburn Rovers in their previous match. After today’s result, Fulham and Coventry currently occupy 1st and 10th spots in the league, with 83 points and 59 points respectively after 41 matches.

Coventry dominated the first half, thanks to Michael Rose giving The Sky Blues the lead, at 20 minutes. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Viktor Gyokeres, at 24 minutes, finalising the first half 0-2.

The Cottagers took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Bobby Reid in the 82nd minute. Coventry in turn, then responded just before the final whistle increasing their lead with an effort from Callum O`Hare. The game ended with a 3-1 win for Coventry.

For Fulham, Bobby Reid, Rodrigo Muniz and Joshua Onomah, came on for Nathaniel Chalobah, Neeskens Kebano and Neco Williams.

There were bookings for Harry Wilson from Fulham, and Fankaty Dabo, Ben Sheaf, Simon Moore and Gustavo Hamer, for Coventry.

Next up, Fulham are away to Derby County, whilst Coventry will travel to face Birmingham City.
