Fleetwood Town 1-1 Forest Green: Honours even at Highbury Stadium

On Tuesday, Fleetwood Town and Rovers played out a 1-1 draw at Highbury Stadium. Both Fleetwood Town and Rovers arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. Fleetwood Town were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last match 2-1 to Exeter City whilst Rovers were beaten 1-0 in their previous match against Portsmouth FC. Fleetwood Town are currently 17th with 17 points from 16 matches, while Rovers sit in 22nd, with 13 points from 16.

The Green found the net first, with a goal from Harvey Bunker, 23 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.

Fleetwood Town took the initiative in the second half, when Callum Morton found the net, 70 minutes in, seing the match finish 1-1.

Substitutions for Fleetwood Town included Danny Andrew, Paddy Lane and Daniel Batty for Cian Hayes, Lewis Warrington and Carlos Mendes Gomes, respectively. Rovers brought on Josh March, Dominic Bernard, Armani Little and Jamille Matt, to replace Bryan Fiabema, Harvey Bunker, Myles Peart-Harris and Ben Stevenson.

There were bookings for Harrison Holgate and Danny Andrew from Fleetwood Town. For Rovers, Harvey Bunker and Myles Peart-Harris saw yellow.

Fleetwood Town will next play Accrington Stanley at home, with Rovers facing Barnsley away.
