Charlton Athletic enjoyed a mesmerising away victory against Doncaster Rovers at Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday. Doncaster Rovers were looking for a victory after a scoreless draw against Fleetwood Town in their previous match while Charlton Athletic were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Burton Albion and Gillingham FC. After today’s result, Doncaster Rovers are in 23rd place, with 30 points from 40 matches, while Charlton Athletic sit in 14th, with 49 points from 40.

After a goalless first half, Charlton Athletic continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Jayden Stockley giving Charlton Athletic the lead, at 66 minutes. The game ended with a 1-0 win for Charlton Athletic.

For Doncaster Rovers, Ollie Younger, Josh Martin and John Bostock, came on for Aidan Barlow, Ben Jackson and Matthew Smith. Charlton Athletic brought on Akin Famewo and Elliott Lee for Corey Blackett-Taylor and Scott Fraser.
