Charlton Athletic 1-1 Oxford: Home advantage cancelled out by visitors

On Saturday, Charlton Athletic and Oxford United played out a 1-1 draw at The Valley. Both sides came from defeats in their previous league games. Charlton Athletic were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 3-1 to Barnsley, while Oxford United had lost their previous match against Milton Keynes Dons. Oxford United started strongly in the first half, when Marcus Browne gave them the lead in the 11th minute and saw the first half out 1-0.

Charlton Athletic started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with a goal from Jayden Stockley in the 55th minute, seing the match finish 1-1.
