Cambridge 2-0 Lincoln: The U’s extend positive home form

Lincoln City on away loss to Cambridge at Abbey Stadium on Saturday. Cambridge were looking to continue their good run, following a 4-3 victory against Burton Albion. Lincoln City, meanwhile, were struggling for form following a draw in their last match. Cambridge are now in 5th place, with 13 points from 7 matches, while Lincoln City sit in 20th, with 7 points from 7.

Cambridge dominated the first half, when Joe Ironside gave them the lead on the 24 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Joe Ironside made it 2-0, at 27 minutes to see out the first half 2-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 2-0 at full time.

Substitutions for Cambridge included Liam O’Neil, James Brophy, Jack Lankester, Saikou Janneh and Greg Taylor for Adam May, Shilow Tracey, Harvey Knibbs, Sam Smith and Paul Digby, respectively.
