Burton Albion 1-1 Morecambe: Brewers fail to get past The Shrimpers

On Saturday, Burton Albion and Morecambe FC played out a 1-1 draw at Pirelli Stadium. Burton Albion were aiming to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Peterborough United in their previous game. Morecambe FC were beaten 2-1 in their previous match against Ipswich Town. Burton Albion are now in 23rd place on the table and have 9 points while Morecambe FC sit in 24th with 8 points after 14 matches.

Burton Albion found the net first, when Davis Keillor-Dunn gave them the lead, 30 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.

Morecambe FC took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Ryan Delaney, 77 minutes in. The final result, Burton Albion 1, Morecambe FC 1.

Substitutions for Burton Albion included Joe Powell, Mustapha Carayol and Bobby Kamwa for Sam Winnall, Jonny Smith and Joe Powell, respectively. Morecambe FC replaced Ousmane Fane, Ryan Cooney, Caleb Watts, Adam Major and Anthony O’Connor with Dylan Edward Connolly, Donald Love, Jensen Weir, Liam Gibson and Liam Shaw.
