Bournemouth 1 – Forest 0: One goal makes difference for The Cherries at home

Bournemouth eased past Nottingham Forest in a 1-0 victory on Tuesday at the Vitality Stadium. Both teams arrived at the challenge after previous wins. Bournemouth were looking to pick up points, following a 3-0 victory against Blackburn Rovers whilst Forest were coming from consecutive wins against Swansea City and Fulham. As the table looks today, Bournemouth are in 2nd place on the table and has 85 points while Forest sit in 3rd with 79 points after 33 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Bournemouth piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Kieffer Moore giving The Cherries the lead, at 83 minutes and seeing the game end 1-0.
Both teams used all available substitutes. For Bournemouth, Kieffer Moore, Chris Mepham and Ben Pearson, came on for Jefferson Lerma, Jaidon Anthony and Ryan Christie, Forest brought on Joe Lolley, Richie Laryea and Alexander Mighten, to replace Jack Colback, Philip Zinckernagel and Steve Cook.
There were bookings for Mark Travers and Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth, and Scott McKenna and Djed Spence, for Forest.
Bournemouth will play their next fixture at home against Millwall, while Forest will face Hull City away.
