Bournemouth 0 – Boro 0: The Cherries crowd must settle for goal-less draw

Bournemouth were held to 0-0 draw by Boro down on Friday at the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a scoreless draw against Sheffield United in their previous match. Boro lost 1-0 in the last match they played against Hull City. Following today’s result, Bournemouth and Boro sit 2nd, (74 points) and 7th, (63 points), spots respectively, after 42 matches.

Both managers used all substitutions. For Bournemouth, Jaidon Anthony, Jamal Lowe and Siriki Dembele, came on for Todd Cantwell, Philip Billing and Ryan Christie, Boro brought on Andraz Sporar, Folarin Balogun and Riley McGree to replace Duncan Watmore, Aaron Connolly and Marcus Tavernier.

There were bookings for Philip Billing from Bournemouth. For Boro, Matt Crooks and Isaiah Jones saw yellow.

Bournemouth will play away against Coventry City, while Boro will face Huddersfield Town at home.
