On Saturday, Bournemouth and Fulham were held to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium. Both Bournemouth and Fulham arrived fresh from some positive results. Bournemouth were looking to pick up points, following a 3-0 victory against Coventry City. Fulham, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 3-0 victory against Preston North End. As it stands, Bournemouth and Fulham currently occupy 2nd and 1st spots in the table, with 78 points and 87 points respectively after 44 matches.

After an un-eventful first half, Fulham took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Aleksandar Mitrovic at the 56 minute mark. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Dominic Solanke equalised for Bournemouth just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.

Both managers used the full entitlement. For Bournemouth, Jamal Lowe, Siriki Dembele and Todd Cantwell, came on for Philip Billing, Jaidon Anthony and Jefferson Lerma, Fulham brought on Antonee Robinson, Nathaniel Chalobah and Jean Seri to replace Joe Bryan, Harrison Reed and Tom Cairney.

There were bookings for Lewis Cook, Nathaniel Phillips and Adam Smith from Bournemouth, and Joe Bryan, Harrison Reed, Antonee Robinson, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Marek Rodak, Kenny Tete and Tosin Adarabioyo, for Fulham.

Bournemouth will play their next fixture away against Blackburn Rovers, while Fulham will face Luton Town at home.
