Bolton Wanderers 1 – SWFC 1: Points shared with visitors at University of Bolton Stadium

On Saturday, Bolton Wanderers and SWFC were held to a 1-1 draw at University of Bolton Stadium. Bolton Wanderers wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic in their previous game. SWFC were coming from consecutive wins against AFC Wimbledon and Cheltenham Town. As it stands, Bolton Wanderers and SWFC currently occupy 10th and 5th spots in the table, with 61 points and 73 points respectively after 42 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, The Owls fought back the second half, thanks to Jordan Storey finding the net at the 66 minute mark. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Jordan Williams equalised for Bolton Wanderers just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.
For Bolton Wanderers, Amadou Bakayoko, Liam Gordon and Xavier Amaechi, came on for Jon Bodvarsson, Declan John and Kieran Sadlier. SWFC replaced Callum Paterson and Saido Berahino with George Byers and Nathaniel Mendez Laing.
There were bookings for George Johnston, Gethin Jones, Liam Gordon and Elias Kachunga from Bolton Wanderers, and Harlee Dean and Jack Hunt, for SWFC.
Next up, Bolton Wanderers are away to Doncaster Rovers, whilst SWFC will travel to face Milton Keynes Dons.
