Bolton 1-0 Morecambe: Bolton extend League One unbeaten form with three points

Bolton Wanderers beat Morecambe FC with a thumping 1-0 victory on Tuesday at University of Bolton Stadium. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Bolton Wanderers were looking for a victory after a scoreless draw against Port Vale in their previous match. Morecambe FC had to settle for a draw 1-1 against Fleetwood Town. As things stand, Bolton Wanderers are in 4th place in the table and have 8 points while Morecambe FC sit in 22nd with 2 points after 4 matches.

Bolton Wanderers found the net first, when Conor Bradley gave Bolton Wanderers the lead, 39 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 1-0.

Substitutions for Bolton Wanderers included Amadou Bakayoko, Oladapo Afolayan, Jordan Williams and Kieran Sadlier for Jon Bodvarsson, Elias Kachunga, Kieran Lee and Kyle Dempsey, repectively. Morecambe FC brought on Jake Taylor, Dylan Edward Connolly and Ousmane Fane, to replace Max Melbourne, Jonathan Obika and Arthur Gnahoua.
