On Tuesday, Barnsley and Stoke were held to a 1-1 draw at Oakwell Ground. Both Barnsley and Stoke arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Barnsley were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 2-0 to Derby County. Stoke, on the other hand, were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Blackpool. As it stands, Barnsley and Stoke currently occupy 23rd and 15th spots in the table, with 24 points and 45 points respectively after 24 matches.

Following a goalless first half, Barnsley took the initiative in the second half, with Domingos Quina finding the net at the 70 minute mark. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Lewis Baker equalised for The Potters just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-1.

For Barnsley, Matty Wolfe and Devante Cole, came on for Callum Styles and Amine Bassi. Stoke brought on Tyrese Campbell, Jaden Philogene-Bidace and Steven Fletcher, to replace Jacob Brown, Demeaco Duhaney and Jordan Thompson.

The referee booked Domingos Quina and Michal Helik for Barnsley.

Barnsley will next play Fulham at home, with Stoke facing Peterborough United away.
