Sporting Braga banked all three points against the Union Berlin in a 1-0 victory on Thursday, at Braga Municipal. Sporting Braga were looking to continue their good run after winning last match whilst Union Berlin were beaten 1-0 in their previous match against Union Saint-Gilloise. Sporting Braga and Union Berlin currently occupy 1st and 3rd spots in the table, with 6 points and 0 points respectively after 2 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Sporting Braga piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Vítor Carvalho found the net in the 77th minute. The match ended with a 1-0 win for Sporting Braga.
