Sporting Braga 2-1 Malmö: Visitors unable to get win at Braga Municipal

Malmö succumbed to an away defeat against Sporting Braga at Braga Municipal on Thursday. Both Sporting Braga and Malmö came from defeats in their previous league games. Sporting Braga arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing their last match 1-0 to Union Berlin while Malmö had lost their previous match against Union Saint-Gilloise. Following this match, Sporting Braga and Malmö are 3rd (10 points) and 4th (0 points) in the final table respectively, after a total of 6 matches.

Sporting Braga found the net first, with a goal from Ricardo Horta on the 36 minute mark, finishing the first half 1-0.

Sporting Braga started the second half with renewed vigour, when Alvaro Djalo found the net in the 54th minute. Malmö in turn, then responded, 77 minutes in, grabbing the lead with an effort from Patriot Sejdiu. The match ended with a 2-1 win for Sporting Braga.
