Roma see Helsinki off 3-0 on Thursday at the Stadio Olympico. Both Roma and Helsinki came from defeats in their previous league games. Roma were looking to get back to winning ways after losing 2-1 to Razgrad Ludogorets in their previous fixture. Helsinki had lost their previous match against Real Betis. Roma are now in 2nd place, with 3 points from 2 matches, while Helsinki sit in 4th, with 0 points from 2.

Roma didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, when Paulo Dybala opened the rout just before half-time

Giallorossi started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with an early goal from Lorenzo Pellegrini in the 49th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Andrea Belotti made it 3-0, at 68 minutes to make it 3-0.

Substitutions for Roma included Chris Smalling, Paulo Dybala, Mady Camara, Edoardo Bove and Tammy Abraham for Roger Ibanez, Matias Vina, Bryan Cristante, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolo Zaniolo, respectively. Helsinki replaced Matti Peltola, Paulus Arajuuri, Aapo Halme, Anthony Olusanya and Nassim Boujellab with Santeri Hostikka, Perparim Hetemaj, Arttu Hoskonen, Pyry Soiri and Lucas Lingman.

The referee booked Roger Ibanez and Bryan Cristante from Roma. Helsinki had the worst of it though, with Perparim Hetemaj and Aapo Halme seeing yellow, and Tenho then sent off with a red.
