Malmö 0 – Sporting Braga 2: Visitors ecstatic after win at Stadion

Malmö open Europa League Group Stage season with a defeat against Sporting Braga. Today’s result, Malmö and Sporting Braga currently occupy 4th and 1st spots in the table, with 0 points and 3 points respectively after 1 match.

It was an impressive opening from Sporting Braga, when Bruno Rodrigues found the net on the 30 minute mark, finishing the first half 1-0.

Sporting Braga continued to apply pressure in the second period, when Ricardo Horta found the net in the 70th minute, leaving the final score at 2-0.

Substitutions for Malmö included Mohamed Buya, Ola Toivonen, Sergio Pena, Joseph Ceesay and Jonas Knudsen for Erdal Rakip, Isaac Thelin, Oscar Lewicki, Felix Beijmo and Martin Olsson, respectively.
