Ferencváros 1 – Monaco 1: Home advantage cancelled out by visitors

On Thursday, Ferencváros and Monaco played out a 1-1 draw at Groupama Arena. Ferencváros were looking to continue their good run after winning last match while Monaco had lost their previous match against Trabzonspor. Ferencváros are now in 1st place, with 10 points from 5 matches, while Monaco sit in 2nd, with 7 points from 5.

Monaco started the match strongly, when Wissam Ben Yedder gave them the lead, 31 minutes in to see out the first half 1-0.

Ferencváros took the lead in the second half, when Kristoffer Zachariassen found the net, at 81 minutes. The match ended wih a 1-1 draw.

Substitutions for Ferencváros included Marquinhos, Muhamed Besic, Tokmac Chol Nguen and Anderson Esiti for Amer Gojak, Balint Vecsei, Lorand Paszka and Marquinhos, respectively. Monaco brought on Krepin Diatta, Jean Lucas and Breel Embolo, to replace Vanderson, Youssouf Fofana and Kevin Volland.

There were bookings for Endre Botka, Denes Dibusz, Aissa Laidouni and Muhamed Besic from Ferencváros, and Mohamed Camara and Benoit Badiashile, for Monaco.

Ferencváros will play away against Trabzonspor, while Monaco will face Red Star Belgrade at home.
