Glimt 0-1 Arsenal: Saka shines again as The Gunners win in Norway

Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Bodo Glimt on Thursday, was hard fought at Aspmyra Stadion. Glimt were hoping to get something from this game after losing 3-0 to Arsenal in their last match while Arsenal were hoping to continue their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Bodo Glimt and Zürich. Glimt are now in 3rd place on the table and have 4 points while Arsenal sit in 1st with 9 points after 4 matches.

The first half of the match started well for Arsenal, when Bukayo Saka gave them the lead in the 24th minute, saw the first half 1-0. The second part ended with little further action at either end and goalless.

Substitutions for Glimt included Albert Gronbaek, Lars-Jorgen Salvesen, Brede Moe and Joel Mugisha for Ulrik Saltnes, Runar Espejord, Marius Hoibraten and Amahl Pellegrino, respectively. Arsenal brought on Granit Xhaka, Gabriel Martinelli, Marcus Vinicius, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Thomas Partey, to replace Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson, Martin Odegaard, Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

There were bookings for Hugo Vetlesen from Glimt. For Arsenal, Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey and Matt Turner saw yellow.

Arsenal and Glimt will next play away to PSV and Zürich respectively.
