West Brom were held to 1-1 draw by Watford down on Monday at The Hawthorns. West Brom wanted to continue adding points after a 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough. Watford, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 1-0 win against Sheffield United in their last match. As the table looks today, West Brom and Watford currently occupy 14th and 6th spots in the table, with 2 points and 4 points respectively after 2 matches.

The Hornets dominated the first half, when Ismaila Sarr gave Watford the lead, 12 minutes in. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Karlan Grant equalised for West Brom just before halftime. The score at half time was 1-1. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-1.

Substitutions for West Brom included Okay Yokuslu, Adam Reach and Matthew Phillips for Jake Livermore, Grady Diangana and Darnell Furlong, repectively. Watford brought on Mario Gaspar, William Troost-Ekong, Rey Manaj and Dan Gosling, to replace Hassane Kamara, Francisco Sierralta, Emmanuel Dennis and Ismaila Sarr.

There were bookings for Jayson Molumby and Darnell Furlong from West Brom. For Watford, Christian Kabasele saw yellow.

West Brom will next travel to Blackburn Rovers, while Watford will face Burnley at home.
