West Brom 1-1 Burnley: Points shared at The Hawthorns

West Brom were helde ach other to a 1-1 draw by Burnley on Friday at The Hawthorns. West Brom were looking for a victory after a 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic. Burnley were coming from consecutive wins against Millwall and Wigan Athletic. West Brom and Burnley are 13th, (9 points) and 2nd, (13 points), in the league respectively, after 8 matches.

The Clarets started the first half well, when Jay Rodriguez found the net, at 30 minutes, finishing the first half 1-0.

The Baggies took the initiative in the second half, when Brandon Thomas-Asante found the net just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-1.

Substitutions for West Brom included Brandon Thomas-Asante, Matthew Phillips and Jake Livermore for Kyle Bartley, Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Jayson Molumby, respectively. Burnley brought on Darko Churlinov, Johann Gudmundsson, Ashley Barnes, Samuel Bastien and Bailey Peacock-Farrell for Nathan Tella, Ian Maatsen, Jay Rodriguez, Jack Cork and Arijanet Muric.
