Swansea 3-0 Hull City: The Swans rampant against tame Tigers

Swansea enjoyed a home victory against Hull City at Liberty Stadium on Saturday. Both Swansea and Hull City arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. Swansea arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing their last match 1-0 to Sheffield United while Hull City were beaten 3-0 in their previous match against Stoke City. Swansea and Hull City sit 13th, (12 points) and 18th, (11 points), spots respectively, after 11 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Swansea piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Ryan Manning found the net, 61 minutes in. Swansea looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Luke Cundle, at 64 minutes to establish a 2-0. The Swans then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Joel Piroe just before the final whistle to give a final score of 3-0.

Substitutions for Swansea included Luke Cundle, Michael Obafemi, Armstrong Oko-Flex and Fin Stevens for Joe Allen, Joel Piroe, Oliver Cooper and Matthew Sorinola, respectively. Hull City brought on Ryan Longman, Ryan Woods, Greg Docherty and Cyrus Christie, to replace Harvey Vale, Dimitris Pelkas, Jean Seri and Oscar Estupinan.

There were bookings for Nathan Wood-Gordon from Swansea, and Regan Slater and Greg Docherty, for Hull City.

Swansea will play their next game away against West Bromwich Albion, while Hull City will face Luton Town at home.
