Swansea 3 – Bournemouth 3: Liberty Stadium sees frustrating draw

Swansea were held to 3-3 draw by Bournemouth down on Tuesday at Liberty Stadium. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Swansea were looking for a victory after a 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough. Bournemouth had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Fulham. As the table looks today, Swansea are in 14th place on the table and has 61 points while Bournemouth sit in 2nd with 79 points after 34 matches.
It was an impressive opening from The Swans, with Joel Piroe finding the net early in the first half. However they weren’t finished yet and Joel Piroe made it 2-0 at the 12 minute mark and seeing the first half out 2-0.
Swansea took the initiative in the second half, thanks to a goal from Cyrus Christie at the 58 minute mark. However, The Cherries weren’t lying down and managed to pull back a goal from Kieffer Moore in the 72nd minute. The momentum was now with Bournemouth, who then scored again through a goal from Dominic Solanke, 81 minutes in to establish a 3-2. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a 2nd effort from Kieffer Moore just before the final whistle with a final score of 3-3.
Both coaches used the full entitlement. For Swansea, Korey Smith, Jay Fulton and Kyle Joseph, came on for Ben Cabango, Hannes Wolf and Joel Piroe, Bournemouth brought on Philip Billing, Kieffer Moore and Robbie Brady to replace Adam Smith, Jamal Lowe and Ryan Christie.
There were bookings for Cyrus Christie and Korey Smith from Swansea. For Bournemouth, Jamal Lowe, Jaidon Anthony, Nathaniel Phillips, Philip Billing, Jefferson Lerma and Dominic Solanke saw yellow.
Bournemouth and Swansea will next play away to Blackburn Rovers and Nottingham Forest respectively.
