Stoke 2-0 Luton: The Potters beat The Hatters at Bet365 Stadium
Luton Town fell to an away defeat at the hands of Stoke City at Bet365 Stadium on Tuesday. Stoke were looking to get back to winning ways after losing 2-1 to Birmingham City in their last match. Luton were able to continue their winning streak after a 1-0 win against Blackpool in their last match. Stoke are now in 14th place, with 25 points from 9 matches, while Luton sit in 9th, with 29 points from 9.
The Potters started the first half well, with an early goal from Nick Powell in the 3rd minute. Stoke then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Tom Lockyer in the 13th minute to see out the first half 2-0. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
