Reading and Bristol currently occupy 7th and 12th spots in the table, with 25 points and 21 points respectively after 17 matches.

After an uneventful first half, whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on The Royals who started the second half strongly, when Mamadou Loum found the net, at 52 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Andy Carroll made it 2-0 just before the full time to make it 2-0.

Substitutions for Reading included Shane Long, Nelson Abbey and Andy Carroll for Lucas Joao, Junior Hoilett and Yakou Meite, respectively.
