After today’s result, QPR and Boro currently occupy 8th and 20th spots in the league, with 3 points and 1 point respectively after 2 matches.

QPR started the first half well, with a goal from Chris Willock at the 13 minute mark. The momentum was now with Rangers, who then scored again through a goal from Rob Dickie at the 27 minute mark to establish a 2-0. QPR looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Lyndon Dykes, 38 minutes in to establish a 3-0. However, Boro hit back though just before halftime, with a goal from Matt Crooks. The score at half time was 3-1.

The Boro took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Marcus Forss, 56 minutes in. The final result, QPR 3, Boro 2.

The referee booked Stefan Johansen and Osman Kakay from QPR. Boro had the worst of it though, with Marcus Forss and Marc Bola seeing yellow, and Darragh Lenihan then sent off with a red.
