Norwich 2-0 Millwall: The Canaries make it back to back home wins

Norwich City beated Millwall 2-0 on Friday at Carrow Road. Norwich were looking to continue their run, following a 2-1 victory against Huddersfield Town. Millwall secured a point against Swansea City in their previous match. At the moment, both teams are on 7 points and occupy 5th and 7th places respectively after 5 matches.

After a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on The Canaries who started the second half well, with an early goal from Josh Sargent in the 50th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a second effort from Josh Sargent at the 75 minute mark with a final score of 2-0.

Substitutions for Norwich included Todd Cantwell, Aaron Ramsey and Teemu Pukki for Kieran Dowell, Onel Hernandez and Josh Sargent, repectively. Millwall brought on Jamie Shackleton, Zian Flemming, Andreas Voglsammer and Jake Cooper, to replace Billy Mitchell, George Honeyman, Tyler Burey and Danny McNamara.

There were bookings for Liam Gibbs and Tim Krul from Norwich, and George Saville and George Honeyman, for Millwall.

Norwich will play their next fixture away against Sunderland AFC, while Millwall will face Reading at home.
