Norwich 0-1 Luton: The Hatters sneak past the slumping Canaries at Carrow Road

Norwich on home loss to Luton Town at Carrow Road on Tuesday. Norwich were hoping to get something from this game, following defeat to Watford. Luton were able to continue their winning streak after a 3-1 win against Queens Park Rangers in their last match. both teams are now on 24 points and sit in 4th and 3rd places respectively after 16 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Luton continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, with a goal from Carlton Morris in the 62nd minute, seing the match finish 1-0.

Substitutions for Norwich included Dimitris Giannoulis, Onel Hernandez, Marcelino Nunez and Isaac Hayden for Liam Gibbs, Danel Sinani, Aaron Ramsey and Gabriel, respectively. Luton brought on Cameron Jerome, Sonny Bradley, Luke Freeman and Elijah Adebayo, to replace Harry Cornick, Fred Onyedinma, Alfie Doughty and Carlton Morris.

The referee booked four players. Todd Cantwell from Norwich, who saw yellow cards and Kenny McLean, sent off with a red, as well as for Luton Dan Potts and Elijah Adebayo received yellows.

Next up, Norwich are away to Sheffield United, whilst Luton will travel to face Watford.
