Norwich 2-1 Huddersfield: Canaries land their first win of the season

Norwich City eased past Huddersfield Town in a 2-1 victory on Tuesday at Carrow Road. Norwich were looking forward to meeting again after losing 2-1 to Hull City in their previous fixture. Huddersfield, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 3-1 win against Stoke City in their last match. As the table looks today, Norwich are in 15th place, with 4 points from 4 matches, while Huddersfield sit in 17th, with 3 points from 4.

Norwich scored first, when Josh Sargent found the net early in the first half. The Canaries then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Danel Sinani at the 16 minute mark, ending the first half 2-0.

The Terriers took the lead in the second half, when Patrick Jones found the net, 81 minutes in. The match ended with a 2-1 victory for Norwich.

Substitutions for Norwich included Gabriel, Jordan Hugill, Onel Hernandez, Aaron Ramsey and Milot Rashica for Kieran Dowell, Josh Sargent, Marcelino Nunez, Danel Sinani and Todd Cantwell, repectively. Huddersfield brought on Jordan Rhodes, Jonathan Russell, Etiene Camara, Patrick Jones and Josh Koroma for Danny Ward, Duane Holmes, Jonathan Hogg, Sorba Thomas and Josh Ruffels.

The referee booked Kieran Dowell for Norwich and Tom Lees saw the red card, for Huddersfield.

Norwich will play at home against Millwall, while Huddersfield will face Coventry City away.
