Luton 1-2 Wigan Athletic: The Hatters unable to repel fightback by Latics

Wigan Athletic beat Luton Town with a 2-1 victory on Saturday at Kenilworth Road. Luton were looking to pick up points, following a 2-1 victory against Cardiff City. Wigan Athletic, meanwhile, had secured a point against West Bromwich Albion in their previous match. Luton are currently 16th with 9 points from 8 matches, while Wigan Athletic sit in 13th, with 10 points from 8.

Luton started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Carlton Morris gave them the lead on the 39 minute mark to see out the first half 1-0.

Wigan Athletic continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Callum Lang found the net on the 80 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Thelo Aasgaard made it 2-1 just before the full time to make it 2-1.
