Hull City 0-2 Sheffield Utd: The Blades remain on the charge with away win

Sheffield United beat Hull City with a 2-0 victory on Sunday at Mkm Stadium. Hull City arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing 3-1 to Queens Park Rangers in their last match. Sheffield U, meanwhile, were coming from a 4-0 win against Reading. Hull City and Sheffield U are 12th, (11 points) and 1st, (17 points), spots respectively, after 8 matches.

It was an impressive opening from The Blades, when Oliver McBurnie found the net in the 20th minute. The score at break remained 1-0.

Sheffield U continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, with a goal from Sander Berge in the 75th minute, seing the match finish 2-0.

Substitutions for Hull City included Ryan Longman, Tyler Smith, Jean Seri, Sean McLoughlin and Dimitris Pelkas for Benjamin Tetteh, Callum Elder, Ryan Woods, Alfie Jones and Ozan Tufan, respectively. Sheffield U replaced Chris Basham, Rhian Brewster, James John McAtee and Ollie Arblaster with Max Lowe, Oliver McBurnie, Sander Berge and Thomas Doyle.

There were bookings for Tobias Figueiredo from Hull City. For Sheffield U, Anel Ahmedhodzic and Rhian Brewster saw yellow.

Hull City will play away against Cardiff City, while Sheffield U will face Rotherham United at home.
