Hull City 3 – Reading 0: The Royals ship 3 at Mkm Stadium

Reading fell to an away defeat at the hands of Hull City at Mkm Stadium on Saturday. Hull City were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Millwall. Reading had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Swansea City. As things stand, Hull City and Reading currently occupy 18th and 21st spots in the league, with 50 points and 41 points respectively after 44 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Hull City, with Keane Lewis-Potter opening the rout just before half-time

Hull City started the second half with an intensified spirit, with a goal from Alfie Jones, 53 minutes in. However they weren’t finished yet and Keane Lewis-Potter made it 3-0 just before the final whistle to make it 3-0.

For Hull City, Tom Eaves, Greg Docherty and Ryan Longman, came on for Allahyar Sayyad, George Honeyman and Lewie Coyle. Reading replaced Ovie Ejaria and Yakou Meite with Tom Dele-Bashiru and Tom Ince.

There were bookings for Jacob Greaves and Nathan Baxter from Hull City. For Reading, Michael Morrison saw yellow.

Hull City will next play Bristol City away, with Reading facing West Bromwich Albion at home.
