Hull City 0 – Huddersfield 1: The Terriers get valuable away win at Mkm Stadium

Huddersfield Town snatched all three points from Hull City in a 1-0 victory on Friday, at Mkm Stadium. Both Hull City and Huddersfield came from defeats in their previous league games. Hull City were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 3-1 to Luton Town. Huddersfield were beaten 3-0 in the previous match against Bournemouth. After today’s result, Hull City are in 20th place, with 41 points from 40 matches, while Huddersfield sit in 3rd, with 66 points from 40.
After an un-eventful first half, Huddersfield continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Harry Toffolo, at 79 minutes. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 1-0.
Both coaches used all available substitutions. For Hull City, Callum Elder, Greg Docherty and Allahyar Sayyad, came on for Ryan Longman, Regan Slater and Brandon Fleming, Huddersfield brought on Fraizer Campbell, Danel Sinani and Pipa, to replace Duane Holmes, Josh Koroma and Ollie Turton.
The referee booked Tom Eaves, Brandon Fleming and Greg Docherty from Hull City and Tom Eaves (2 yellow cards) went off with a red card, while Huddersfield’s Sorba Thomas also received a yellow.
Hull City will next travel to Middlesbrough, while Huddersfield will face Luton Town at home.
