Derby 1 – Bristol 3: The Robins travel to Pride Park Stadium and seal win

Bristol City defeat Derby County 3-1 on Saturday at Pride Park Stadium. Derby were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 1-0 to Queens Park Rangers. Bristol had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Sheffield United. As the table looks today, Derby and Bristol are 23rd, (31 points) and 17th, (52 points), spots respectively, after 44 matches.

Bristol started strongly in the first half, thanks to Andreas Weimann finding the net at the 10 minute mark. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Antoine Semenyo, 38 minutes in to see out the first half 0-2.

Derby took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Craig Forsyth at the 61 minute mark. In the end though, The Robins, at 79 minutes increased their advantage following a Timm Klose goal. The game ended with a 3-1 victory for the visitors.

For Derby, Luke Plange, Louie Sibley, Jason Knight and Darren Robinson, came on for Liam Francis Thompson, Bartosz Marcin Cybulski, Max Bird and Louie Watson. Bristol brought on Sam Bell, Duncan Idehen, Han-Noah Massengo and Andy King, to replace Alex Scott, Ayman Benarous, Sam Bell and Joe Williams.

There were bookings for Nathan Byrne from Derby, and Joe Williams, Ayman Benarous and Antoine Semenyo, for Bristol.

Derby will next travel to Blackpool, while Bristol will face Hull City at home.
