Saturday’s fixture between Cardiff and North End delivered a goalless draw at the Cardiff City Stadium. Cardiff were looking forward to meeting again after losing their last match 2-0 to Bristol City. North End, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. After today’s result, both teams are on 8 points and sit in 12th and 8th places respectively after 6 matches.

Substitutions for Cardiff included Niels Nkounkou, Andy Rinomhota, Mark Thomas Harris, Sheyi Ojo and Gavin Whyte for Callum O’Dowda, Joe Ralls, Jaden Philogene-Bidace, Rubin Colwill and Romaine Sawyers, repectively. The referee booked two players from North End, Ben Whiteman and Brad Potts.
