Burnley 1-0 Norwich: Jay Rodriguez goals gives Clarets victory at Turf Moor

Burnley beat Norwich City with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday at Turf Moor. Burnley were keen to hang onto their position at the top of the table and extend their winning run, following a 4-2 victory against Sunderland AFC while Norwich had managed to pick up a point in their matchup with Sheffield United. Burnley are currently 1st with 32 points from 9 matches, while Norwich sit in 7th, with 25 points from 9.

After an uneventful first half, Burnley applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Jay Rodriguez, 82 minutes in. The match ended 1-0 to Burnley.

Substitutions for Burnley included Manuel Benson, Connor Roberts, Halil Dervisoglu, Charlie Taylor and Samuel Bastien for Johann Gudmundsson, Vitinho, Nathan Tella, Jay Rodriguez and Anass Zaroury, respectively.
