Bristol 1-2 QPR 2: Rangers come up with big three points at Ashton Gate

Queens Park Rangers strolled past Bristol City with a 2-1 win on Saturday at the Ashton Gate. Bristol were hoping to get something from this game after losing 2-1 to Burnley in their last match whilst QPR were unable to beat Stoke City in a 0-0 draw. Bristol and QPR currently occupy 12th and 5th spots in the league, with 14 points and 18 points respectively after 12 matches.

QPR started the match strongly, when Stefan Johansen found the net, at 19 minutes. They then scored again, pulling level thanks to a goal from Tyler Roberts, 22 minutes in, ending the first half 2-0.

Bristol took the lead in the second half, when Nahki Wells found the net, at 61 minutes, seing the match finish 2-1.

Substitutions for Bristol included Antoine Semenyo, Chris Martin and Han-Noah Massengo for Tommy Conway, Robert Atkinson and Joe Williams, respectively. QPR brought on Jimmy Dunne, Luke Amos, Andre Dozzell, Lyndon Dykes and Osman Kakay for Jake Clarke-Salter, Tim Iroegbunam, Stefan Johansen, Ilias Chair and Kenneth Paal.

There were bookings for Joe Williams, Han-Noah Massengo and Alex Scott from Bristol. For QPR, Luke Amos saw yellow.

Bristol will next play Coventry City at home, with QPR facing Sheffield United away.
