Bristol 1 – Peterborough United 1: Home advantage cancelled out by visitors

Bristol were held to 1-1 draw by Peterborough United down on Saturday at the Ashton Gate. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Bristol were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Bournemouth. Peterborough United, on the other hand, had lost their previous match against Middlesbrough. As it stands, Bristol are in 19th place on the table and has 45 points while Peterborough United sit in 24th with 28 points after 41 matches.

Bristol started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with a goal from Robert Atkinson just before half-time

Peterborough United took the initiative in the second half, thanks to a goal from Jonson Clarke-Harris at the 65 minute mark. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

Both coaches used the full entitlement. For Bristol, Zak Vyner, Han-Noah Massengo and Antoine Semenyo, came on for Robbie Cundy, Joe Williams and Nahki Wells, Peterborough United brought on Frankie Kent, Jack Marriott and Reece Brown, to replace Sammie Szmodics, Ricky Jade-Jones and Jeando Fuchs.

Bristol will next travel to Stoke City, while Peterborough United will face Blackburn Rovers at home.
