Bristol City defeated Luton Town 2-0 on Tuesday at the Ashton Gate. Bristol were looking for a victory following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic in their previous game. Luton, on the other hand, lost 1-0 in the last match they played against Preston North End. Following today’s result, Bristol are in 13th place in the table and have 4 points while Luton sit in 23rd with 2 points after 4 matches.

The first half of the match started favourably for The Robins, with an early goal from Nahki Wells in the 5th minute. Bristol then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Tommy Conway in the 27th minute. The score at half time was 2-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 2-0.

The referee booked four players. Nahki Wells and Andreas Weimann from Bristol, who saw yellow cards and Mark Sykes, sent off with a red, as well as for Luton Luke Freeman received yellows.
