Bournemouth 1 – Reading 1: All even at the Vitality Stadium against The Royals

Bournemouth were held to 1-1 draw by Reading down on Tuesday at the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Reading were beaten 4-0 in the previous match against Nottingham Forest. As the table looks today, Bournemouth are currently 2nd with 66 points from 38 matches, while Reading sit in 21st, with 30 points from 38.

It was an impressive opening from Bournemouth, thanks to a goal from Dominic Solanke, 8 minutes in, finishing the first half 1-0.

The Royals took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Tom Ince at the 83 minute mark. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

For Bournemouth, Jamal Lowe, Ben Pearson and Siriki Dembele, came on for Todd Cantwell, Lewis Cook and Jaidon Anthony. Reading brought on Yakou Meite and Junior Hoilett, to replace Lucas Joao and Ovie Ejaria.

There were bookings for Todd Cantwell and Jefferson Lerma from Bournemouth. For Reading, Josh Laurent saw yellow.

Bournemouth will play their next fixture away against Huddersfield Town, while Reading will face Blackburn Rovers at home.
