Blackpool 0-1 Luton: The Hatters get narrow win away at Bloomfield Road

Blackpool on home loss to Luton Town at Bloomfield Road on Saturday. Blackpool were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 1-0 to West Bromwich Albion. Luton, meanwhile, were struggling for form following a draw in their last match. Blackpool are now in 18th place on the table and have 22 points while Luton sit in 8th with 29 points after 20 matches.

Following a goalless first half, Luton continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Luke Berry gave them the lead, at 57 minutes, which sealed the victory for the visitors.

Substitutions for Blackpool included Keshi Anderson, Dominic Thompson, Callum Wright and Theodor Corbeanu for Charlie Patino, Jordan Thorniley, Grant Ward and Keshi Anderson, respectively. Luton brought on Harry Cornick, Luke Freeman and Cameron Jerome, to replace Dan Potts, Luke Berry and Elijah Adebayo.

There were bookings for Callum Connolly from Blackpool. For Luton, Luke Berry saw yellow.

Blackpool will next travel to Wigan Athletic, while Luton will face Rotherham United at home.
