Blackburn Rovers strolled past West Bromwich Albion with a 2-1 win on Sunday at Ewood Park. Blackburn were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games in the league. The most recent was against the Swansea City away (3-0), the other to Queens Park Rangers at home (1-0). West Brom, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As things stand, Blackburn are in 3rd place, with 6 points from 3 matches, while West Brom sit in 19th, with 2 points from 3.

Blackburn started the first half well, when Ben Brereton found the net at the 41 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Sam Gallagher made it 2-0 just before halftime, concluding the first half 2-0.

The Baggies took the lead in the second half, when Grady Diangana found the net, 59 minutes in so at full time it was 2-1 to Blackburn.

Substitutions for Blackburn included Tayo Edun, Bradley Dack and Tyrhys Dolan for Ashley Phillips, Sammie Szmodics and Sam Gallagher, repectively. West Brom replaced Adam Reach with John Swift.

There were bookings for Sam Gallagher, John Buckley, Bradley Dack and Lewis Travis from Blackburn, and John Swift, for West Brom.

Blackburn will play their next fixture away against Reading, while West Brom will face Cardiff City at home.
