Blackburn 0-1 Stoke: The Potters leave Ewood Park with 3 points

Stoke City beat Blackburn Rovers with a thumping 1-0 victory on Saturday at Ewood Park. Both teams arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Blackburn were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Sheffield United. Stoke were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Sunderland AFC. As it stands, Blackburn are in 6th place in the table and have 9 points while Stoke sit in 15th with 7 points after 6 matches.

The Potters started strong and were rewarded, when Lewis Baker gave Stoke the lead in the 27th minute and saw the first half out 1-0. The second 45 minutes ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
