Birmingham 1 – West Brom 0: The Baggies unable to avoid defeat at St Andrew’s Stadium

On Sunday, West Bromwich Albion suffer an away defeat to Birmingham City at St Andrew’s Stadium. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Birmingham wanted to improve their league standing after a scoreless draw against Swansea City in their previous match. West Brom are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. After an un-eventful first half, Birmingham applied pressure in the second, thanks to Lyle Taylor giving Blues the lead, 67 minutes in. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 1-0 to Birmingham.

The referee booked Lyle Taylor and Juninho Bacuna for Birmingham.
Birmingham will next travel to Nottingham Forest, while West Brom will face Stoke City at home.
