Birmingham 0 – Millwall 0: Blues and The Lions, no goals so points shared

Wednesday’s fixture between Birmingham and Millwall delivered a goalless draw at St Andrew’s Stadium. Birmingham were keen to hang onto their position at the top of the table and extend their winning run after winning last match while Millwall were beaten 1-0 in their previous match against Huddersfield Town. Birmingham and Millwall currently occupy 12th and 9th spots in the league, with 24 points and 27 points respectively after 19 matches.

Both managers used all available substitutions. Substitutions for Birmingham included Juninho Bacuna, Lukas Jutkiewicz and George Hall for Tahith Chong, Troy Deeney and Hannibal Mejbri, respectively, Millwall brought on Tyler Burey, Tom Bradshaw and Callum Styles, to replace Mason Bennett, Andreas Voglsammer and George Honeyman.

The referee booked Murray Wallace for Millwall.

Birmingham will next travel to Stoke City, while Millwall will face Hull City at home.
